Eligibility & Rules
For Points, Prize Money & Awards!
- Must be registered for all 3 events
- Must be a Florida resident over the age of 21
- Age Group Determination is the age at which you are at the Claus Cause 5k, December 12th.
- Accumulate the most Triple Crown Race Series points by the final Series race, the Clarke Ice Cream 5k on April 3rd.
- Age group 9 and under must run on their own and not be pushed in a stroller/wheeled cart

9 and under; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70- 74; 75 and over
Awards and scoring
Over $2000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to the Triple Crown Race Series Champions!
Following a Grand Prix format, the Triple Crown Race Series uses a point system based on results from each race.
Runners who score in the top overall or top age group positions receive points at each of the events.
Note: Race Series awards are not duplicated. An individual can win in the overall category or age group, but not both.

In the event of a tie, the fastest 5k time over the 3 races will determine the tie-breaker.
How the Series Works
Register for all three races and the Triple Crown.
Earn points throughout the series based on your finish position.
The runners with the highest cumulative point totals will be crowned the Forever Vets Triple Crown Champions.
Every participant who completes registers for the series becomes part of the newest tradition in Northeast Florida running.
